"Climb the Great Wall, Fly the Great Wheel" will certainly be a new theme for Beijing. Higher than both the London Eye and the Singapore Flyer, the Beijing Great Wheel, which opens in March, will tower 208 meters (682 ft) when finished in 2009. It would then make it the highest and longest in the world. The giant ferries wheel will have 48 air conditioned observation capsules, and on a good day even the Great Wall is expected to e visible from the wheel.
